The siege of Paris led, in 885 by the Vikings, is a battle of legend which will change the course of the history of France. The Vikings met in Rouen. Over 700 longships will sail up the Seine. Their goal is to reach Burgundy, known for its many riches.
But to do so, they had to take Paris and its fortified bridges.
But behind the city walls, two men will stand up to the Normans: Count Eudes of Paris and Bishop Gozlin, a man of faith determined to fight these pagans. At the head of a small army, they will not resign themselves to abdicate in front of the hundreds of drakkars which veil the horizon. Siegfried, the Viking leader, is cornered. His army fails to undermine the walls of the island of the city. He is forced to lay siege to Paris. A legendary battle that will forever change the course of French history.
