Blennerhasset makes the decision to coldly dismiss both Nancy and Molloy from his employ, claiming his leg has now healed and he no longer needs them. Nancy is certain her uncle is lying, both to them and to Detective Regan about his knowledge of the recent deaths and she vows to get to the bottom of it. Blennerhasset’s attempts to right the situation however are thwarted by Bushrod Whacker, the temperamental American photograph collector, on the run from the Dublin Metropolitan Police and very keen to get his name cleared. All the while a killer waits patiently to complete their deadly collection.
