Nina Weiss, a BKA agent, visits her mother Margarethe on the Canary Islands. She arrives unannounced, searching for answers on her past. When a German citizen dies, she’s involved in the investigation alongside Raúl Morales, the Civil Guard sergeant in charge of the case. Confronted after starting on the wrong foot, they will have to get along despite their opposing personalities and investigation methods. Weiss, a meticulous observer, finds clues in details. Morales, a soul connoisseur, analyzes human conduct for evidence. Nina carries herself in a distant and professional way, contrasting with Raúl’s more social and intuitive approach, while leading his team. Despite their clash, or perhaps because of it, the brilliant officers resolve the case. And soon they investigate new cases involving the German community on the islands.
