On their search for Ziggy the Novas chase a lead that brings them to a planet inhabited by the Kelembai, a silicon-based life form. Think rocks! With the promise of information about Ziggy's disappearance, the Novas attempt to communicate, but, thanks to some cultural misunderstandings in both directions, Jet bungles their efforts plus the Novas are endangered by a glass storm. Redeeming himself, Jet’s quick thinking saves the day.
