Award-winning executive producer Eileen Fröhlich joins ZDF Studios subsidiary CONTENT LADEN
Munich/Mainz, 12 March 2025
In April, renowned executive producer Eileen Fröhlich will join the production company CONTENT LADEN, a subsidiary of ZDF Studios. She will initially be in charge of the ZDF satire format 'Die Anstalt'. Previously, she was EP at SEO Entertainment, a Leonine Group company, for more than 16 years. Eileen Fröhlich was responsible for the cabaret show 'Frank am Freitag' (BR) as well as formats such as 'Down the road' (SWR), 'Das Lachen der Anderen' (WDR) and 'That's my jam' (RTL+). For the latter, she won the German Television Award twice. She has also been nominated for the Grimme Award several times.
"We are very happy to have found an absolute top candidate in Eileen. For the future and the further development of such an award-winning format as 'Die Anstalt', we couldn't think of anyone more suitable,' say producers Tom Gamlich and Jan Fritzowsky. "Eileen brings a lot of experience and a big heart." At the beginning of the year, CONTENT LADEN took over 'Die Anstalt', which had been a ZDF in-house production for many years, in cooperation with Redspider as studio service provider.
In the second year of its existence, CONTENT LADEN has been producing its own formats with a focus on factual entertainment. Most recently, 'Magic Moves' (ZDF), a social factual programme with the Ehrlich Brothers, attracted a lot of attention. Other productions and new developments include music, fashion, environment and personality. As Executive Producer, Eileen Fröhlich will contribute her experience in both studio/comedy and factual/documentary programming. "I would like to thank my team and my current company for 16 wonderful years, but I am now looking forward to a new start. I have fond memories of the start-up spirit that CONTENT LADEN is currently experiencing and believe it is a perfect fit both creatively and personally," says Eileen Fröhlich of her new role.
