Peter Siska is a chief inspector in the Police Headquarters, Munich. He has his own methods of conducting an investigation – and is prepared to insist on applying them, if necessary – he prefers to develop a leam spirit as a rule. In exceptional circumstances he shows the effect of stress, and he is quite capable of an emotional outburst, but generally his voice is quiet and controlled. Siska may have a hard shell, but he also has the proverbial soft centre.
