Jockey Christian Adler’s place is in the world of horseracing, working between the sport’s nobility and its nouveau riche racing stable owners. After a suspicious fall during a race, the once successful jockey is no longer able to ride. He now manages a joint stable with old trainer Wolf Kremer and looks after his own horse, Samuraj, who he purchased from Countess Hayn-Hohenstein.
