Just days before police inspector Lorenz Keller is quitting the force, the mummified body of a teenage girl turns up in the bogs: It is that of Fee, who died 15 years ago – murdered or by accident. Keller sees his big chance to redeem himself and find the killer he had sought for so many years. But as his obsession grows, so does the list of potential killers. Is the challenge too big for him?
