The Füssen Police Department is located in "Königswinkel". Julia Bachleitner, who leads the homicide division, is tasked with solving the murder of a local newspaper reporter.
Along with fellow officer Thomas Stark, who was incarcerated three years ago for a crime he didn't commit, Julia looks into the crime. At the same time, she's also been asked to keep an eye on the recently released Thomas, as many of her colleagues are not convinced of his innocence.
