Jana Friedrich is a young, dedicated doctor from the countryside, currently completing her specialist training in forensic medicine. A dream of hers comes true with the offer of an internship with Kurt Bremer, a major role model of hers, at the renowned Hamburg Institute for Forensic Medicine. Jana has read all of his books, and she knows working in this field is not like it is on a TV crime show.
