Miriam is incredibly happy now that Ingmar has left his wife, the pastor Lene, to move in with her. It's only after Miriam gives birth to twins that Miriam begins to suspect the damage she must have caused to her rival. But then again, would Ingmar have left Lene if they had been as happy as Lene always imagined? Miriam then falls gravely ill, the clock is ticking. Keeping her illness a secret, she runs into Lene and discovers not a bitter rival but a warm-hearted woman – and possibly a wonderful mother for her twins…
