Veterinarian Nicole and single dad Martin are in a carefree and casual relationship. But after a year together, Nicole still hasn’t met Martin’s teenage children. Martin sets up a Christmas dinner with his daughter Juli and his son Kris, but the evening turns out to be anything but enjoyable. Juli has defiantly decorated the family home for Halloween, and Kris thinks gaming on his computer and hanging out with his friends are more important than his dad’s new girlfriend.
