Our film accompanies the giants of the seas on their journey. From a shipyard in China to a fully automated terminal in Rotterdam, where up to 23,000 containers are processed per week, to ALP Striker, the most powerful oceangoing tug in the world, which pulls a 31,000-ton oil rig across the ocean. The program also shows concepts aimed at making shipping more environmentally friendly. Ferries that use the wind as a drive. A catamaran that produces hydrogen for its fuel cell itself. Or the first cruise ship that will use LNG (liquefied natural gas) as a power unit.
