The South American Pantanal is a vast network of swamps and rivers, tropical forests and savannas. Nowhere else on our planet live as many jaguars as in this area. Their hunting grounds are so vast, that it is almost impossible to discover the elusive cats. The film provides deep insights into their life: it shows how they hunt, mate and even how they take a little nap during the midday heat. One of the film’s highlights is a jaguar killing a caiman – an at least equally dangerous predator.
