Northern Europe is changing rapidly. Glaciers are melting, new species are emerging, and ancient migration routes, like those of narwhals and reindeer, are dramatically shifting. Polar bears are losing their hunting grounds, vast bird colonies are disappearing, and the Arctic fox is increasingly threatened by the invasive red fox. Permafrost, a crucial carbon store, is slowly releasing its contents.

Wildlife filmmaker Zoltán Török and Greenland expert Lars Peifer vividly capture the changes in Greenland and Sweden. While some animals adapt, others, like narwhals and polar bears, face extinction. Yet, there is hope: conservation programs and the Inuit's resilience show that humans can be part of the solution. The question remains whether we can act in time to preserve nature’s delicate balance.
