A cold February night in Hamburg. Two cops on the beat. Diller and Kessel. Friends. They even live close by with their families. Kessel’s got a wife, child, and lots of problems. Money problems. Wife problems. The kind of thing you can sort out if you had a bit more money. So when Kessel deftly spirits away a bag full of drugs while on a police operation, it doesn’t solve any problems; it just causes new ones. The owners of the bag are looking for him, as are the police. Kessel’s wife loses it, his son disappears, and Diller has to decide whether to hang his friend or cover for him. Diller now tries to find the bag and reinstate law and order. Not for himself but for his friend. Or so he claims. He wants to get him back on the "right side" – but what's right when you're not sure of what's wrong? For Kessel, it could be too late…
