The lawyer Judith Schrader, fighting against organized crime in Berlin, takes on an Arabic clan in court. Her battle is personally motivated: the clan is responsible for shooting and lethally injuring the policeman Jan Wiegand, with whom she is having a secret affair. Although she should give up the case, Judith stays silent.
