An armored car specialized in art transport has been attacked and robbed, whereby Marthaler’s girlfriend is seriously injured. Marthaler is shocked that Tereza is pregnant, but he is absolutely incensed for being removed from the case. The inspector takes matters into his own hands, and gets an important tip from a journalist: he is to meet an art dealer who had once been involved in dubious activities and has now been fatally wounded. Just before he dies, the informer whispers a few words: “Karin Rosenherz Morder Case.” Back in the 1970s, Karin was a prostitute; what can she be involved in today?
