They all knew something. Retired Chief Inspector Dahlke is adamant about this when he visits his former protégé Kurt Schaake and Kurt’s partner Lotte Jäger at the Brandenburg Criminal Investigation Office, where the two of them are working on cold cases from long ago. In 2001, young Manuela Kirschner was stabbed to death after a party in the small town of Großlühne. The killer and the weapon were never found. Now Dahlke, the investigator on the case back then, has received a video of the party from an anonymous source.
