Nora’s boss, Kurt Böhnisch, is retiring. Then he takes his own life during his retirement party. A woman’s body is found in Lübeck not long after his death, and Nora discovers similarities to an unsolved murder in Rostock. Böhnisch had searched there for his daughter Jasmin, but to no avail. She had lived in Rostock and disappeared without a trace two years ago. Could she have been the victim of a crime as well?
