Sisters Mona and Marie are now running the Sonnengruß, an inn at the North Sea. But things at the inn are anything but harmonious. Mona misses her old life in Düsseldorf high society, and Marie feels like she is left to handle the work at the inn all by herself. In spite of this, Marie secretly arranges a surprise party for Mona’s birthday, which leads to even more conflict.
