A murder at a restaurant proves to have been copied from an unpublished book. The writer seeks out Hjerson and Klara and asks them to crack the case. Only five people, besides the author herself, have read the script. One of them has to be the murderer.
As it appears that a second murder has ties to the unpublished book, it narrows down the hunt for the suspect. Hidden motifs are surfaced and the noose is tightened, yet the killer seems to be one step ahead of everyone.
