The police officer Blochin is to work together with his boss and brother-in-law Dominik to investigate the death of a drug dealer. Blochin used to know the victim, a man called Toto Hoins, all too well. But before the investigation is even fully underway, the case is pulled from Homicide 7 of the German Federal Police. Dominik’s secret lover Katrin Steinbrenner, the state undersecretary for Berlin’s Senator of the Interior, is behind the sudden change of plan. It becomes clear that they’re dealing with more than a petty criminal: the duo is faced with a conflict of interests in the upper echelons of the political world.
