Police Academy trainees Inka, AC, Kilian and Marc accidentally become witnesses to a murder in a movie theater, which directly involves them in the investigation. The victim is a male student who, unnoticed by others, was brutally stabbed during a movie. A number of signs point to the projectionist, Sören, as the perpetrator. The victim’s girlfriend, Michelle, and her brother Dominik are also looked at by the investigators.
