A robbery occurs at a bank near Kitzbühel. This is not the first robbery by a man hiding behind a Pinocchio mask. The bank robber flees across the property of tire manufacturer, castle owner and Consul Tichalski. When the suspicions against his son Volker are corroborated, the Consul uses shady tactics to try to pressure the investigators. But Karin and Andreas find ways to fend off his political scheming.
