Amanda has it all; a loving husband, a wonderful daughter, a rewarding job and a beautiful home. One morning on her way to work she falls asleep at the wheel and runs over a woman and her sever-year-old daughter, killing them. Now Amanda is serving a prison sentence for reckless driving. A few years previously, Roger had a relationship with Amanda and is very affected by her case. A little too affected as he has a hard time remaining objective and not letting his feelings get in the way.
