When Fritzie tells her friend Selma about her breast cancer diagnosis, Selma makes an appointment with a prominent doctor to get a second opinion. The doctor gives Fritzie the shocking news that she will most likely have to have one of her breasts removed. Teacher Fritzie is particularly moved when she realizes her student Luna is destroying her body to pursue her dream of being a model. Fritzie tries something drastic to help Luna see what her eating disorder is doing to her.
