Young fashion designer Julia gets to know her father on a road trip to Munich, Germany. As she finds out, her mother and father’s life in the late 70s strongly resembled that of famed bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde. Julia also learns of how her grandmother, Giulietta, and grandfather, Alexander, at long last drove off to start a life together, only to have their dreams smashed: The brake hose of the car had been tampered with, causing an accident that ended fatally for Giulietta. Her then husband, Enzo, is the primary suspect.
