Richard is unemployed. On top of that, his wife Anke just left him. A mathematician, he gets the ingenious idea of making a lateral career move and becoming a teacher at his wife’s school. Anke is not the only one who is less than thrilled about her new coworker. Their daughter Isa, who attends the same school, is equally annoyed by her father’s decision. But now Richard has to hold his own in front of the other teachers and his new students. What happens to him in the process is something he never anticipated.
