Eric is facing his best friend Alex’s terminal diagnosis with no idea how to say goodbye. He promptly applies for a job at a funeral home. Meanwhile, Eric and Alex’s very pregnant girlfriend Karla struggle through the absurdly nightmarish weeks that follow. As Alex’s inevitable end approaches, a territorial dispute breaks out between Alex’s parents and Karla over his final resting place.
