Principal Gitta Engel was Nele's mentor at university and when there is a bullying incident at the boarding school, she is determined to get Nele to work for her. But sport is not really Nele's area anymore – she left all that behind years ago. Viewed with skepticism by her ambitious colleagues, she soon wins over the students, because Nele has an excellent nose for sniffing out the difference between healthy ambition and a manic drive to succeed. And life in the countryside combined with interesting friendships in the village gives her private life a new perspective, too.
