When an accident in the school laboratory leaves them exposed to secret rays Elisabeth and Toby are left with 'scientific' super-powers. From this moment on the peaceful school day is thoroughly shattered by flying lawn-mowers, invisible cars, cloned headmasters, a rampaging T-rex and other inventions by these new-found geniuses. But whereas Toby puts into practice harmless, peaceful and imaginative ideas, Elisabeth uses her powers for diametrically opposite purposes, always entirely for her own benefit. And when Toby once again rejects Elisabeth's suggestion that they should work together as a team, things start to look very tricky.
In this high profile series, a co-production between Jonathan M. Shiff Productions and ZDF Enterprises, the actual state of scientific research is taken as a basis, with a playful approach adopted towards the 'missing link' in current research.
