Violence is part of life in the Pacific and those that live here must choose whether to avoid conflict… or rise to meet it.
But of all the danger in the Pacific, it is the human created violence that stacks up as the most confronting. Signs of our violent past are found throughout the Pacific: from Papua New Guinea’s ancient Skull Caves; to the wrecks left behind by human warfare; and Bikini Atoll, the site of the most violent manmade event ever unleased on the Pacific.
