In a little-known corner of South America, Guyana’s rainforests are largely unexplored. They hold a breath-taking array of wildlife, and the king of this diversity, the jaguar, sits enthroned in the shadows of the jungle.
This is a young male, about to embark on the most important mission of his life, he must strike out to find a kingdom of his own. His journey will take him through varied habitats, each with their own cast of animal characters. He’ll come face to face with other top predators like the biggest freshwater fish, the arapaima, pack-hunting giant otters, and caiman, with bone-crushing jaws. It seems for every predator there is an even bigger hunter.
Only if he can prove his worth will the jaguar be able to claim his throne in one of the last truly wild paradises on the planet.
