This film is the first HD nature doc about the Puget Sound area in the American Northwest and the first HD doc about the life of dolphins who choose to live alone. About ten years ago Ute Margreff came upon the female dolphin Mara on Ireland’s Atlantic coast, and an unusual friendship soon developed between the two. On Puget Sound, wildlife filmmaker Florian Graner found his paradise, where he encounters sea lions, North Pacific giant octopuses, and witnesses a dramatic killer whale hunt.
