The body of 18-year-old Korbinian Walser is found on the outskirts of Berlin. Irene discovers something at the crime scene that she decides to conceal from her new partner, at least for the time being. The dead boy is wearing a distinctive necklace that reminds Irene of her last and as yet unsolved case in the Missing Persons Unit. Four years ago, teenager Emma Lennartz disappeared along with her newborn child. Could this be a new lead? Are the two cases somehow related?
