Two tenants in an old building in Leipzig die at the same time: A man dies of carbon monoxide poisoning in his apartment, after apparently bringing his barbeque grill inside to cool it down. And a woman is found beaten to death in the laundry cellar. This second death in particular turns out to be a complicated case for the homicide team. They promptly suspect quick-tempered Bernd Siebert, who was the one to find his girlfriend’s body.
