After 17 years of marriage, Annie has a fling while on a spa weekend with her best friend. She is sure that this is just a one-time mistake. But it doesn’t end there. Soon afterward, Annie realizes she is pregnant. Her friend Tine, who has been unsuccessfully trying to have a child with her husband Nils for years, has no sense of humor whatsoever about Annie’s ridiculous situation. Annie looks inside herself, and finds that the only way to deal with the situation is to be brutally honest.
