Frieda’s daughter Elli has spent everything she has on renting an apartment in Stuttgart for her mother to stay in while the rooms at Heckemellersch are being renovated.
Moving boxes wait in the courtyard of Frieda’s home. She is not entirely at ease with her situation. Most of all, she is uncomfortable with the thought of Tinka and Jasmin now inhabiting the rooms of her children Elli and Christian. But without their help, she will not be able to manage the urgently needed renovation of Heckemellersch.
