Sol (Eko Fresh), his girlfriend Jessica (Joyce Ilg) and his bemused buddy Hardy (Sascha Reimann) all live in a prefabricated high-rise building in Cologne. Nothing and nobody can get them down.
Whenever something goes wrong, they deal with it – in their own inimitable way. No sooner does Sol move into a shared flat with Jessica than he gets into trouble with the landlord’s agent for not paying the rent.
When his hard-fought disability status is then revoked, he is compelled to enrol for temporary work as a caretaker. As a consequence, he can pay his own way for the first time in a long while.
But working for a living proves to be more strenuous than he imagined. While nothing much is going right for Sol, Jessica’s father causes additional friction by using her two-year-old brother Jeremy to bankroll his spending in Hardy‘s Pizzeria.
