Two families share a duplex in the countryside. And they are separated by more than just a garden fence. On one side lives the newly arrived patchwork family from the city, on the other the old-established suburbanites. Their coexistence turns out to be hot tempered and characterized by prejudice, mistrust and world views that could not be further apart. And yet the two families have to and want to come to terms. With all their differences or even worse: their alarming similarities.
