After a shooting in Bochum’s city park, detective Heldt and his team are confronted with a riddle. Nobody was injured, but the team is sure that it must be a professional killer who is responsible for the shooting. His target was a woman whose face had been covered by a baseball cap, so her identity cannot be revealed as well. She has disappeared without a trace. Who is the woman, and who is the responsible criminal? At “Carlo’s”, Anne Lerch, Carlo’s big love, appears. Heldt is absolutely sure that she must be the victim of the shooting. Though Carlo does not believe Heldt’s conviction, Heldt remains skeptical: it’s impossible that Anne’s sudden reappearance is just a coincidence. At this point, no one suspects that this case is going to reach unforeseen dimensions.
