Forensic scientist Dr. Katrin Stoll and detective chief inspector Henrik Mertens delve into East German history when a young man’s remains are discovered near a former GDR training camp used to prepare youngsters to resist the “capitalist enemy”. Although reported at the time to have drowned, an autopsy reveals that the man was shot. The specialists prove that the cause of his death was covered up for political reasons and that he was in fact brutally murdered.
