The bones of Marvin Sommer, a militant animal rights activist, are found in the woods. He was completely dedicated to protecting wolves after their recent return to Bavaria. In doing so, he made quite a few enemies: Dannenberg, the huntsman in charge of the district, does not want any wolves in his district, and Leibinger, an organic farmer who feels his livelihood is threatened, protests the wolf attacks on his young livestock.
