The day-to-day routine at the Fanckhauser's is shaken up. Adopted son Philipp tells his father he no longer wants to play basketball, which has been a family hobby for generations. Instead, his life's dream is to become a dancer. Son Theo chooses a dog from the city's animal shelter, but after a visit to the bakery, the mixed-breed Fredo goes missing. There is a big commotion and the repercussions are serious. Theo decides not to speak until Fredo is found.
