Despite all her passion, her effort, and her sacrifices, Rebecca cannot understand why her acting career has gone down the drain. Chronically broke, Rebecca goes from job to job until she pounces at the chance to play a pastor in a basement theatre production. Unfortunately, the position is unpaid so she must accept a request from the Bishop, an old school friend, to coach his son Thaddeus while researching for her role. Thaddeus, however, responds to Rebecca’s commitment with a complete lack of interest. Faced with the possible end of her career, Rebecca will do whatever it takes to win over Thaddeus.
