Naval architect Isabel’s life proceeds down orderly paths. She expends all her energy constructing a ship that is supposed to clear the seas of plastic waste. However, she is worried about her father Ernst. After suffering a stroke he needs care. However, as he is difficult to satisfy, no household help can bear it with him for long. By chance, the father and daughter meet Ivo at a party. He immediately hits it off with Ernst. Without knowing much about Ivo, Isabel abruptly hires him to care for her father.
