Everyone expects Nele, 23, to take over the family pharmacy when her father retires. But Nele has secretly abandoned her studies in Berlin and is now devoting herself completely to her two real passions: 1) the restoration of antique furniture, and 2) her Polish boyfriend Grzegorz. On this particular weekend, 1) and 2) are on collision course with Mom and Dad and it looks bad for Nele, who must urgently restore an antique desk. As a surprise to Nele, her mother Franziska is coming to Berlin to apply for a job as curator, without her husband's knowledge. Suspicious about his wife's sudden secrecy, Nele’s father sets out for Berlin with a cheap excuse ...
