Enough is enough: when Hanna catches her husband Sebastian in flagrante with her best friend, she hops on a plane and flies to Spain. On her flight she meets Santiago, who tries to comfort her and invites her to his hacienda. There she falls in love with the black stallion El Loco, whom she can save from being put down. With El Loco, she sets off on a 200 km ride through Andalusia up to San José, where it is possible to set horses free in a nature park. On her way she meets people who emotionally touch her and give her a new perspective on life. Particularly enriching is her meeting with the charming biologist Simon, who helps Hanna leave her pain and sorrow behind. She now wonders how her life will go on, and whether or not it will be with Sebastian…
