Carelessly pensioner Luttkewitz injures a hedgehog. Josephine takes care of the animal and is surprised when the grumpy old man commits himself to caring for the animal alongside her.
When the now well-fed animal is released back into the wild, Josefine takes the happy event as an opportunity to draw attention to the general plight of hedgehogs.
